From Start to Close

I’ll help you through the buying process from the first day we meet all the way through to closing. We will start with a conversation — you can ask questions and share more details about what you are looking for in a new home. I’ll listen closely to understand your needs and offer advice and suggestions to make sure we are well-prepared and can act quickly in today’s competitive market.

From there I’ll develop a customized online home search where you can focus on the homes that meet your criteria. This is better than the public search tools available online because it includes the most accurate and up-to-date information. This search can be refined and updated over time as you narrow in on the homes and areas where you want to live.

I’ll work closely with your mortgage lender throughout the buying process, and I’m happy to provide recommendations if you are in need of a mortgage professional.

Finding your next home

As soon as you’re ready, I’ll coordinate and schedule showings so we can start looking at the houses you are interested in. While you focus on whether you want to make a house your next home, I’ll be answering your questions and evaluating the accuracy of the listing, the price, and the house’s condition, including things that could affect the value now and in the future, such as potential costly repairs. I’ll offer input regarding the current condition, improvement opportunities, and potential resale value.

Once you are ready to make an offer on a home, I’ll help guide you through the important factors and decisions. I’ll then prepare and submit the offer, including professional and timely communication with the seller’s Realtor. My #1 goal is to help you put together a great offer and get it accepted. After an offer is accepted, I also provide guidance and negotiation throughout the inspection process, including any necessary repairs that are identified. I’ll manage any issues that may arise and you can count on me to limit the stressful moments all the way through to closing day when you get the keys to your new home!
